May 2026

Central Park, New York City
Suraj and Komal’s New York City session was more than a photoshoot—it was a celebration of their story against the backdrop of one of the most iconic cities in the world. With Suraj traveling from Dallas and Komal coming from New York, this brief time together in the city felt special, and they wanted photographs that would preserve not just memories, but the true essence of NYC.
We began the session at the timeless beauty of Bethesda Terrace, where the classic architecture, soft light, and cinematic atmosphere created the perfect setting for intimate and elegant portraits. The arches, the fountain, and the movement of the city around them gave their images a sense of romance and permanence.
From there, we moved through the streets of Manhattan, capturing the unmistakable spirit of New York in its most authentic form. A quick stop by a classic street food cart brought playful, candid moments that reflected the spontaneity and energy of the city. We wanted the session to feel lived-in, natural, and personal—not posed, but experienced.
To complete the story, we created one of their favorite frames with the iconic The New York Times newspaper, a detail that felt both stylish and deeply connected to the city’s identity. It added a timeless editorial feel while making the images uniquely theirs.
This session was about more than landmarks—it was about documenting two people in a city that symbolized excitement, movement, and shared memories. For Suraj and Komal, New York was not just a destination; it became part of their story.
